Saturday Night Live, is being added to the list of Glee’s famous guest stars! She will be playing Brenda Castle, McKinley’s new “busty” 45-year-old astronomy teacher and badminton coach. Also, she’s a raging alcoholic and pill-popper. Yay! She sounds like a hilarious addition to McKinley’s supply of crazy sports coaches. Her character will really be getting under Sue’s nails in the back nine, so expect a new passenger on the “Sue Sylvester Express. Destination: Horror.” Do you think we’ll be getting a showdown between the Cheerios and the badminton coaches? I hope so!
Sources have revealed to us that as of today, Shannon is not going to be singing in the episode, despite her frequent singing in SNL sketches when she was a series regular. Also, she has only been written into one episode to date, scheduled to air in May, but we might be seeing more of her if all goes well. Get on that, Molly Shannon fans!
