Nobody’s promised a ticket to Hollywood…. but Fox 19 and Cincinnati Bell say one winner of an open casting call for Fox’s hit “Glee” will have “a video submission produced by FOX19 and sent directly to Glee casting producers.”
Live “Glee” auditions will be noon-4 p.m. Saturday March 27 at UC’s Tangeman University Center. Entrants must be age 16 to 26. Song selection is limited to a dozen “Glee favorites” listed on the Fox19 site here. No word on if you have to preregister, or what time to show up.
Or you can upload a video (60 seconds or less)” telling the world why you should be the next “Glee” cast member.” Fox 19 says you should be creative and legal — which means no copyrighted material (music or video) will be posted. WXIX-TV folks also ask that you “keep it clean!” You can start uploading videos on Monday, March 15.
Fox 19 says 10 winners will be selected by our judges at the live auditions March 27. And another 9 will be selected out of the online submissions by online voting. The 19 finalists will be announced on Cincinnati Bell’s Facebook Fan Page, they will then compete at CCM on April 19.
