Have you been disappointed with American Idol this season? There might be a reason: It's Glee!
The Wrap's Josh Dickey wonders if the impeccable performances on the hit Fox show have hurt the perception of that other hit Fox show. When viewed against Glee, with it's amazingly talented vocalists, choreography, and boundless energy, the contestants on American Idol feel slight by comparison. And since Glee has been amped up for the second half of this season, there's no signs of this getting any better.
Remember when people were dying to get on American Idol? Now the exiled contestants are fighting to get on Glee. It's no wonder Simon Cowell is making this his final Idol season. He sees the writing on the wall: The Gleeks have taken over!
