Exclusive: On Tour with 'Glee'

ET is behind the scenes as the cast of the FOX mega-hit "Glee" takes their show on the road, kicking off their four-city Glee Live tour in Phoenix, AZ on Saturday.

Cory Monteith (Finn) said before the show, "You know, what I'm really excited about is that we're finally performing this in front of a live audience, because we've been pretending to perform it in front of a live audience for too long, for a couple of weeks at least now."

Kevin McHale (Artie) said he was so excited about the tour that he "couldn't really sleep last night." He added that he's nervous but also excited. "You know, none of us have really done anything like this before, where we have passionate fans that have sold out the entire place to come see us," he explained.

"We chose the best-selling songs, the fan favorites if you will, the songs that everybody wants to hear," Cory said in terms of what they'll be treating the audience to.

Jenna Ushkowitz, who plays Tina, said of the tour, "We [usually perform in] auditoriums on the [TV] show, but we don't usually have an audience, and we have the luxury of saying, 'Oh, [if] this take [doesn't pan out], we have another one, just in case.' ... This [time] ... we're taking a risk, just kind of flying and hoping for the best."
