I’m sure you all know who Chris Colfer is and you’ve heard his fantastic story about how he got the role of Kurt Hummel on Glee.
However, there’s another member of the Colfer family whose story is even more inspirational.

Meet Hannah Colfer, Chris Colfer’s little sister.

Hannah suffers from severe epilepsy and has approximately 50 seizures an hour.
While her condition is quite tragic, her family works very hard to the the best of the situation.

Below is a radio interview that Karyn Colfer, Chris and Hannah’s mom, did with KYNO Radio in Fresno, CA. Karyn talks about her daughter’s condition and all that they have had to go through as a family.

She says that now that Chris is out of the house and she has a little more time on her hands, she has affiliated herself with an organization that is dedicated to finding a cure for epilepsy,
