The plot danglers, the dropped storylines, the missing character details. We tackled some of the biggest Glee fan questions out there and answered them just for you. Take a moment to check out our answers, then add some of your own questions (or answers!) in the comments section below. Oh, but wait!
WARNING: SPOILERS ABOUND BELOW! You've been warned.
A: It looks like the producers of Glee are reeeally trying hard to make that happen! Creator Ryan Murphy is wishing that he hadn't made Jesse a senior in high school, since — as he tells E! Online — "he and Lea Michele have such great chemistry." Murphy is "sure we'll have him back," but it might take a little bit of clever plotting to keep him at McKinley. Murphy has half-seriously tossed out potential story lines, like, "Maybe he doesn't do so well in college and comes back to his glory." And if they can't find a way to keep him in high school, we can hear FOX execs pitching a spinoff already! Did someone say Glee: The College Years?
Q: Are Emma and Will completely done?
A: We hope you're sitting down, Wemma fans! Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello has revealed that we won't see much of Emma and Will in the final few episodes this season, due in part to accommodate actress Jayma Mays's filming schedule for The Smurfs Movie (playing Neil Patrick Harris's character's wife!). But get ready for a bombshell to drop during the season-ender on June 8! Will is going to learn that Emma has been secretly seeing — wait for it — her dentist! Somehow, that seems like the most perfectly vanilla job for a guy who's safe enough for Emma to pursue.
In fact, we won't see her new dentist boyfriend this season, but the role will be cast during the summer and become a major character next season. So tell us in the comments who you would cast as her dentist-with-benefits! (We don't know about you, but we feel like it's high time Hugh Jackman got himself on this show, and how funny would it be to see him as a dentist?) And how does Will take the news of Emma's new man? Let's just say it's enough to make him swear off fluoride for quite awhile!
Q: When will callbacks for Myspace auditions be?
A: What, you call yourself a Gleek and you still haven't picked up the new Entertainment Weekly with Sue Sylvelster on the cover? You should be ashamed! But that issue points out that "the casting call has yielded more than 34,000 video entries, and the Glee team is perusing all of them." That sounds like quite a task, since we're thinking they'll probably need earplugs for more than a few of those 34,000 entries! Murphy says he'll consider "leaking some of the audition tapes online this summer as a tease." Hopefully that means he'll leak a few awful ones, too? Please?!

Q: Will we be seeing more of NPH on Glee?
A: Don't hold your breath, NPH fans! As Neil Patrick Harris mentions in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he loved filming the one episode, which he calls "both invigorating and just wildly gruelling." (Plus, it seems that he may have developed a bit of a crush on Finn! But who hasn't? Harris is only human, after all!) However, he also explains that his role as Barney on CBS' How I Met Your Mother creates a "tricky dynamic." As he says, "I'm currently employed by another network, so it’s not in CBS’ best interests to have me on a FOX show." Although he does give CBS credit for being "lovely enough to let me do sort of a one-off." Sorry, but one-off isn't good enough for us! How dare Glee tease us with the one amazing episode featuring Harris, only to never let us see him on the show again! It's as if FOX told us that Neil will be back any minute now because he just went out for a pack of smokes! And so we just keep on naively waiting for him to return...
Q: When does season 2 start, and will it be the same cast?
A: Glee will be on FOX's schedule in the fall, but it will air on Tuesdays at 8 pm instead of 9 pm. Then, when midseason rolls around, Glee will shift to Wednesdays at 9 pm, after a now half-hour version of the American Idol results show. (In fact, Glee was already given a pickup for season 3 this week! Looks like FOX is feeling pretty confident about it!) The show will return with even more new characters, including the three roles filled by fans through open auditions: Kurt's boyfriend, an R&B-singing "male Mercedes," and a Carrie Underwood-type evangelical country singer to compete with Rachel. As if Rachel didn't have enough problems to deal with already!
Q: Are we ever going to find out more about Mike and Matt?
Q: Will Brittany have a solo?
A: The tricky thing about a show with such a dynamic ensemble cast as Glee has is that there just isn't enough time to focus on every single character in each episode, even as fans start to become attached to the less-prominent ones. So there's no word yet on when smiling-but-mute background dancers Mike and Matt will even, well, get a word. But another beloved duo — meddling femme fatale Santana and blissfully unaware Brittany — have been upgraded to series regulars, a promotion that will become official in season 2.
A Brittany solo won't happen anytime this season, so we'll just have to wait until filming revs back up in July to hear if she nabs her own song in season 2. Tell us in the comments which song you think would be appropriate for Brittany to belt. We're thinking possible contenders could include "Stupid Girl" by Garbage or "Dumb" by Nirvana, but hey — that's just us!

Q: When is Quinn having her baby?
A: As you probably noticed, we haven't seen a ton of plot lines revolving around Quinn's pregnancy since the series returned in April, and — as it turns out — that was intentional. Ryan Murphy explains that there was "way too much baby drama with Terri and the fake baby" in the first 13 episodes, so they decided to pull back on that recently. Quinn will, however, be giving birth during the season finale on June 8. Actress Dianna Agron says that she has been considering talking to her mom to figure out how to play the pregnancy scene realistically. But one thing that she definitely isn't looking for is unsolicited feedback. As Agron says, "People have been freely sharing their horror stories with me left and right!" Yikes. Keep those horror stories to yourselves, people!
