With Glee’s massive success in the past year, rumours are flying about which big-name stars are next in the stunt casting line. The most awesome such report we’ve heard today is that Justin Timberlake is in talks to guest star next season… as Will Shuester’s little brother. Awesome.
"There is more than a little resemblance between Justin and Matthew Morrison who plays Mr Schuester, so the plan to bring Justin in for a cameo as his younger brother is a very popular idea. They are just trying to work it all out at the moment," a source told Absolute Now.
Lea Michele voiced her support for Timberlake on this week’s Regis and Kelly. When asked about her dream guest star, she said “I always felt that Justin Timberlake would be good.”
There’s been no official confirmation of JT’s involvement on the show, but according to the insider, everyone in the cast is thrilled.
"The cast members are very excited about the prospect of working with him - especially Lea Michele, so it has everybody's seal of approval. They just need to work it all out now. The idea is that he will be a substitute teacher and join the glee club for a week.”
And according to the U.K. Mirror, “Bleeding Love” singer Leona Lewis has also landed a cameo role on Glee, though the details are being kept under wraps. But the rumour appears to be supported by the fact that Lewis performed a surprise duet with Glee’s Matthew Morrison during her concert in London last night. (Check out the video here.)
Other Brits rumoured to appear on Glee include Susan Boyle and Matt Lucas – but, as usual, it’s all just talk for now.
