Mike O'Malley has promised that he has more emotional scenes in the new season of Glee.
The actor told TV Guide that his character Burt will still be struggling to come to terms with the sexuality of his son Kurt (Chris Colfer).
"We shot one episode," he said. "It was yet another heartbreaking scene between myself and Chris Colfer. I think what we're going to see this year is the evolution of their relationship. I accept the situation, but I'm also a little unsure about this."
O'Malley also revealed that he would like to perform a Bruce Springsteen track on the programme, adding that he believes it could be possible.
"[Executive producer] Brad Falchuk absolutely adores Bruce Springsteen," he explained. "And he's an instrumental part of the success of this show."
Glee returns on September 21 on Fox.
