I tried to translate the article, sorry for the bad english! There aren't spoilers, just some mini-interviews at the cast.
SCANNED BY ME. PLEASE CREDIT glee-fan.blogspot.com if copy somewhere. THANKS!
Why are they so good?
(I'm going to explain this title: the article says that in Italy we don't have these multi-talented guys, people who can act, dance, sing... So this question it's about that. In Italy we can barely dream to have this kind of people in our movies and tv shows!)
Here is the translation of part of the article :
I met part of the cast in London. They were all enthusiastic , as if they won the lottery, they can’t believe how lucky they are saying things as “My dream come true”. Matthew Morrison says that in italian: “I can’t believe it” (“Non ci credo!”). But if you look at them you can see how much they worked, with dedication and obsession.
Kevin McHale says: “Seven years ago I was in the NLT, which means Not Like Them. Timbaland produced one of our songs and we played as opening act before some important band but we didn’t become famous. You grow up very fast when you don’t have success. You learn a lot of things. So, when they asked me to play the part of the disabled boy, before any other consideration I thought: “Finally I have a job!”.
Matthew Morrison is very happy to have a job too. “I worked in Broadway and I made a lot of little parts in movies and tv. You may have seen me lot of times as waiter or shop assistent without saying anything. Now all is changed."
Amber Riley wishes to have her idol, the singer-actress Queen Latifah, in Glee as a Guest Star.
Chris Colfer wants to have Julie Andrews in the show. “The Sound of Music is my favourite musical! I wish that Mrs. Andrews was my grandma: please, write it down!”.
A lot of movies and music celebrities want to be in Glee, even the ones who snubbed it. Coldplay didn’t allow Glee to play their song Viva la Vida for the Pilot. But now they gave them their entire songs catalogue. Other famous singers did the same: Madonna, Billy Joel, Rihanna and Bryan Adams. Because it’s good to be in Glee. It’s not just a well-made tv show. It also talks about polically corrects good feelings. Glee’s heroes are normal kids, they live their everyday problems and the talk about important themes.
Kevin McHale receives letters from disabled girls that thank him because with Glee they don’t feel represented in a merciful way anymore.
Gay guys write letters to Chris because they wish to come out with their parents and they need to be encouraged.
Kevin says: “I don’t know if Glee could change those intolerant people’s mind, maybe it’s too much for a tv show. I come from Texas where people aren’t very open-minded, but there's this republican man that bought all Glee’s Cd and watches every episode. So, who knows?”
We made the last question to Matthew Morrison:
Do you complain about something? “Yes, I had a love story before Glee. Now it’s over. I’ve lost a great woman because I worked too much. I was enthusiastic about this new experience and I’ve neglected her. I will never do it again.”
