'Glee's' Jane Lynch: Simon Cowell could judge nationals

"Glee" star Jane Lynch tells "Extra" about Simon Cowell guest-starring on the show, "I think when we do nationals, wouldn't he be a great judge?"

Which got us thinking -- what would a Sue Sylvester-Simon Cowell showdown look like? Would they be friends? Enemies? Frenemies? We like to think they'd be friends.

One thing is certain -- we would love to see the prickly British judge tell Rachel Berry that she's "rubbish" just to mess with her head. And we would enjoy the Simon Cowell and Sue Sylvester battle of insults:
Sue: "You're too busy chasing tail and loading your hair was enormous amounts of product. I mean today it just looks like you put lard in it."

Simon: "I presume there was no mirror in your dressing room tonight."

Sue: "Unless you want to lose your man to a mentally ill ginger pygmy with eyes like a bushbaby."

Simon: "You look like one of those creatures that live in the jungle with those massive eyes."

Sue: "Somewhere in the English countryside in a stately manor home, Madonna is weeping!"

Simon: "You sounded like Cher after she's been to the dentist."
It would be epic.
