Hi everyone! This is Harry Shum Jr and I'm taking over the LXD Facebook page to answer your questions!
I met Jon M Chu filming Step Up 2 and then we stayed friends and wanted to work on another project. The LXD was that project and so glad that he thought of me when he came up with the idea.
My best advice for someone who wants to be a dancer is practice, practice, practice and be smart about what inspires you. Meaning make good use of what you learn and the road you take from the inspiration.
It gets a little difficult juggling Glee and LXD but if you love something and have a great team to work with, I feel you can make it happen. Lucky to have a great choreography partner as well which is Christopher Scott.
Michelle Poust You're in the middle of a zombie apocolypse. What is your weapon of choice?
Michelle Poust-I would choose the a super sharp AXE

The people who inspire me in dance is Gene Kelly, Fred Astaires, Charlie Chaplin, MJ and I got more. Charlie was a dancer in my eyes to be able to pull of physical comedy with such great timing. He was listening to his own music in his head.

Julie Kwon Jee do you want to move beyond dancing and acting into directing? where does harry shum jr. go from here?
Julie Kwon- Yes I would & am exploring different genres outside of dance but enjoying this journey. Hopefully will get to direct an episode in Season 3 of LXD

Glee and The LXD take up a large chunk of my time so it doesn't leave much room right now to work on
other projects. BUT I have a couple things in the works that you guys will see soon.

It really is a dream to work with such amazing talent and people on both the LXD and Glee. The two shows are so different yet so the same as far as almost creating it's own genre. So lucky to be part of these projects.

Keeley Dawn- NO I would not change anything in my past. I believe that everything happens for a reason and if I made a mistake I just have to be smart enough to know how to not make the same mistake in the future.

Joyceline Flores Do you ever answer back to your fans on myspace or twitter? you have a lot of fans in mexico have you ever written a tweet in spanish to them?
Joyceline Flores- I need to brush up on my spanish because it's been a while. Yo entiendes espanol pero yo habla poquito. No requerdes mucho porque tengo aprender chino y ingles. (I may have butchered all of that...sorry)

Ana- People who post the same things a hundred times to get your attention. That doesn't help.... (That's a good questions! Ha!)

Andrea Pazos Watching you is so inspiring your musicality is amazing your dancing is breath taking where i live we dont get to see that very much and to try to make it big or even get noticed is very hard espically when you a breakdancer out here they really dont gives us the props dancers deserve any sugestions on how to get out there and get seen?
Andrea- Think of creative ways to mix what people like with what you do to draw them in. Sometimes it's a 50/50 road on getting people to like what you like. Plus you never know, you might find a new creation...

William 'Juggles' Davenport Before you're done here I just want to let me know you an inspiration to me and are one of my favorite of our generation. I love the fluidity of your style of dance and I love how it blends so many elements of various style into one amazing form. I need to get on your level, and one day I will be. Until then I remain forever a fan and a student.
