The crowd was filled with Brad's, Janet's, Rocky's and one girl wearing Rachel Berry's budget GaGa-costume, who were all engulfed by a sea of screams the instant the episode began and Quinn's big red lips licked their way across the screen.
The gist of the installment is that Will directs New Directions in a production of "Rocky Horror Picture Show" because a midnight screening with Carl seemed to help Emma get over a couple of her OCD tendencies and he is painfully jealous. And typically selfish.
But the overly erotic themes cause a bit of a hubbub in McKinley. Sue's Corner plans an on-air expose and Principal Figgins protests while Sam & Finn deal (quite publicly) with male body issues. Finn feels too fat to wear Brad's costume, which in one scene consists solely of underwear. Sam has no problem baring his body to play The Creature (and he does, repeatedly) but tumbles into a shame spiral after Will -- who sees an opportunity to get closer to Emma -- steps in as Rocky's replacement.
That leads to a smoldering scene between Emma & Will -- set to "Touch A Touch A Touch A Touch Me" -- which will make that whole GQ scandal pale by comparison. In fact, much of the show's on-screen debates about the play's content mirror the exact conversations being held in real life regarding the supposedly scandalous pictures Lea Michele, Dianna Argon and Cory Monteith posed for. Coincidence or shockingly astute planning on Fox's part? You decide.
