Cory Monteith is A Master Twitterflirt, But Did He Inspire Taylor Swift's 'Mine?'

If you look in the dictionary under Twitterflirt, you'd see a photo of Cory Monteith. On second thought, you wouldn't find Twitterflirt in the dictionary, because we just made it up. It describes someone -- like Cory -- who follows many, many attractive people of the opposite sex on Twitter, tweets them, and posts lots of Twitpics with them.

Just listen to his track record with the ladies: He's following Selena Gomez, his bowling buddy, and Leighton Meester, who stars in the upcoming movie Monte Carlo with Cory and Selena. He's even putting the Twitter moves on Cassie Scerbo. Do your homework, Cory. She's head over heels for boyfriend Cody Longo.

Most recently, Mr. Smooth is following Nina Dobrev...and twirling her around, too? Check out the photo that Nina posted of them practicing their Emmy opening number.

Did the Canadian charmer work his magic on Taylor Swift, also? Sure sounds that way. Besides following her, "Mine" is rumored to be about Cory, and Taylor reveals that the song "is a situation where a guy that I just barely knew put his arm around me by the water, and I saw the entire relationship flash before my eyes, almost like a weird science-fiction movie."

If "Mine" is about Cory, he remembers putting his arm around Taylor by the water -- just like the lyrics say.

"After I wrote the song, things sort of fell apart, as things so often do," the 20-year-old songwriter explains. "And I hadn't talked to him in a couple months. And the song came out, and that day, I got an e-mail from him. And I was like, 'Yes!' Because that one was sort of half-confession and half-prediction or projection of what I saw."
