Gwyneth Does ‘Glee’: The Latest On Her Censored Tune And More

Already you’re hiding GQ covers from your ‘Glee‘-loving rugrats, but fear not – you won’t have to also declare an “Earmuffs!” alert when Gwyneth Paltrow starts singing on the Fox series.

Though Paltrow will be covering Cee Lo Green’s “F— You” tune during her upcoming visit, she will perform the cleaned-up, radio-friendly “Forget You” version.

Just last week, ‘Glee’ took some soap to its ‘Rocky Horror’ tribute, swapping “sensational” for “transexual” in one iconic song.

The storyline (as it were, being ‘Glee’ and all) setting the table for Paltrow’s performance has not been revealed. All we know is that she is playing a McKinley High substitute teacher who, by spending some time with Will, makes Emma juuuuust a bit jelly bean about her old flame. (Ms. Pillsbury’s vivid memories of their recent “Touch-A Touch-A Touch-A Me” number probably don’t help, either!)

Something else to know about Paltrow’s visit to TV’s red-hot musical dramedy: Though she was originally penciled in for a short arc, sources tell Fancast that Gwyneth’s stay has been culled down to a single episode, airing November 16 – right in the sweet spot of sweeps.

What do you think of ‘Glee’s choice of song for Gwyn to sing?
