She will be crowning Charmin's "King or Queen of the Throne" at the public Charmin Restrooms .
Entertainment Weekly's PopWatch blog said that Lynch will officiate a two-part competition between five finalists competing for the chance to win $50,000. The winner will also "preside" over the Charmin Restrooms for the final days of 2010 and greet and welcome visitors and their families.
The "Charmin Go Nation" finalists, as reported by the The Huffington Post , will first have to win a round of toilet tissue trivia. They then need to prove their agility as they take part in a physical challenge competition that includes Charmin stacking, tossing and a mummy competition.
Charmin described the contest as being "made up of people who actually enjoy going to the bathroom because they have Charmin bathroom tissue." They are being tasked to prove they "enjoy the go."
The winner also gets an extended stay through New Year's Eve, while other finalists get a three-day/two-night trip for two to the finale event and $500 spending money each.
The Charmin Restrooms, which open for the holidays, are located this year on 42nd St. near Times Square. It has been a yearly tradition in the area since 2006 and, according to PopWatch, has been the site where three couples have gotten engaged and one got married.
They opened this year on Nov. 23 with American socialite and actress Kim Kardashian as the honored guest.
The Charmin Restrooms feature 20 fully staffed restrooms as well as a baby changing area, comfortable lounge areas and a potty dance stage. This year there is also a giant smartphone-inspired video display and a social media kiosk area.
They are only open until 3 p.m. on New Year's Eve, which means they won't be open for holiday revelers later in the evening.
