Kristin Chenoweth is ready to return to Glee soon as her character April Rhodes. The actress visited with Access Hollywood's Billy Bush on Friday, and she shared some details about her character's next appearance on the popular Fox series. That isn't all she talked about though!
Kristin Chenoweth revealed during the interview that Ryan Murphy, the man behind the popular Glee, is creating a new series just for the actress. She said the following: "It’s signed on the dotted lines, so he should be busily working away on a new show because he has nothing else to do, you know. He’s very bored. I feel sorry for him." The series will be somewhat musical as well. That is all she revealed about the new series, but there are rumors John Stamos will also appear on the series. She did confirm those rumors, but no one else has been cast yet.
As for her Glee character, April Rhodes will return to the Fox series this spring for at least two episodes, but she didn't give any details about the appearance yet. Fans should just be happy that her popular character is making another appearance on the series. Fans took to her character strongly when she first arrived on Glee, so this should make fans tune in to catch her appearance.
Can she hold her own on a series starring just her though? She is talented. There is no denying that, but it remains to be seen if she can tackle a series by herself.
