opening number of the episode is Cheerios performing along to California Gurls, which includes flaming boobs (it sounds like the song isn't actually performed by the Cheerios?), bmx bikers, Cheerios in bikinis, number meant to keep the super bowl crowd watching
Kurt and Blaine
Ryan Murphy doesn't even know if they'll becoming a couple, but there will be a courtship, he knows he'll get death threats if they don't get together in some capacity, part of him wants to make them a really fabulous power couple so kids can see successful gay people on television. It's a relationship he kind of wants to follow, doing it correctly over the next two years with courtship and wooing.
Tim Stack assumes Kurt will be back by the end of the season, bullying arc will be wrapped up in the last 5 or 6 episodes of the season. Karofsky "will probably realize his inner homophobia".
