How to Get Jayma Mays's Golden Globes Look

According to last night's polling, many of you were not loving Jayma Mays's beauty look. Ouch. Orange lipstick is trendy right now, however, and for those of you who are looking for a hot style, this how-to's for you. Created by celebrity makeup artist Beau Nelson, the inspiration behind Jayma's look was a modern-retro feel.

To try the palette yourself, start with CoverGirl's NatureLuxe Silk Foundation ($12). Create a smoky eye by using dark brown shadows, black liner, and plenty of dark mascara. And for that sexy bright pop of orange-red color on the lips, use a sharp lip brush to apply the brand's Lip Perfection lipstick in Flame ($6).

Jenna Ushkowitz was beaming last night at the Golden Globes. Part of it was her sheer excitement, and part was due to the work of celebrity makeup artist Patrick deFontbrune, who used blue eyeliner to complement Jenna's gorgeous blue dress. Find out how to re-create Jenna's easily wearable makeup palette when you keep reading.

Complexion: For a flawless finish, apply CoverGirl NatureLuxe Silk Foundation ($12) using a dampened sponge. Next, apply some bronzer to contour the cheekbones. Add a shimmering rose blush on the cheeks for a pop of color.

Eyes: Keep the eyes smoky, but use LiquilineBlast in Blue Boom ($7) to tie it all together. (See a photo and review of this liner.)

Lips: Top off with CoverGirl's Lip Perfection in Fervor ($6).

Lancôme makeup artist Melanie Inglessis created Lea Michele's peachy keen makeup last night using Lancôme Color Design Five Pan Palette in Taupe Craze (which comes out next month) on her eyes. For a pop of color, Blush Subtil in Sheer Amourose ($30) was applied to Lea's cheeks, and a combination of L'Absolu Lipcolor in Exotic Orchid ($29) and La Laque Fever Lipshine in Chromed Pink ($27) was used on her lips to create a pretty, soft pink.

How to Get Dianna Agron's Golden Globes Hair and Makeup

For Dianna Agron's makeup, Chanel makeup artist Angela Levin used Chanel Eyeshadow Duo in Khaki-Clair ($42) for her eyes. For her lips, she lined with Bobbi Brown Lip Liner in Henna ($20) and went over with Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Ballet Russe ($32). For Dianna's hair, Pantene celebrity stylist Danilo created soft, vintage-feel curls. To see how he did it, just keep reading.

  • Mist your hair with Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Heat Protection & Shine Spray ($6) for a conditioning base, and then spray Pantene Pro-V Fine Hair Root Lifter Spray Gel ($4) on your roots for added volume.
  • Blow-dry your hair, then use a dollop of Pantene Pro-V Restore Beautiful Lengths Smoothing Balm ($5) to coat each section of hair before applying heat from the iron.
  • Using a medium-to-large curling iron, curl hair down and under before setting to cool.
  • Once hair has cooled in the set (10-15 minutes), release the curls and brush through.
  • Lightly spread more of the Smoothing Balm through your waves as needed to tame fly-aways.
  • Part your hair to the side of your preference, and pin back the sides.
  • Pull the remaining hair forward, shaping hair so that it appears full.
  • Use a finishing spray on the front and sides of hair to lock in loose curls. Leave the back curls alone so they keep their flowing movement.
