There won't be a new episode of Glee until the much talked about post-Superbowl episode scheduled for February 6, but we're already looking ahead to a future episode of Glee.TVOvermind has learned that the show is currently looking for actors/actresses to play cowboys and cowgirls for a big scene taking place in a country bar. The episode will begin shooting on January 25 and the shoot for the scene is expected to last an entire day.
Glee has featured a few country songs in the past, particularly when Broadway actress Kristen Chenoweth has made her guest appearances, but there's only been one big cast country performance: when Chenoweth performed Carrie Underwood's "Last Name" with the glee kids.
There's no word yet on which song the group will perform, but it'll be nice to see the group do a big performance in a country bar. We know that Chenoweth is scheduled to appear in another episode in the second half of season 2, so it'll be interesting to see if this country bar scene will appear in her episode, since she does like to bring the country music to Glee.
