Says Lynch of the show's demanding and constantly changing schedule: "We never finish what we have to do. It seems like we’re always pushing something to a later date."

We’re completely in the dark until we get the script," says Jane Lynch, pictured in her signature Sue Sylvester wear. "Ryan [Murphy] is one of the most imaginative guys I’ve ever met. He’s all about, 'What would make this funnier or more real?' When he directs, it raises our game."
"I'm all about being prepared," says Matthew Morrison, who explains that the Broadway work ethic helped prepare him for the role of Glee's Mr. Shue. "Eight shows a week, rehearsal... it's just ingrained in me. I take this stuff really seriously."

"I’d like to say I’ll be the Mr. Belding of the show," says Matthew Morrison of his tenure on Glee. "He was with the new class of Saved By the Bell and the college years." But after thinking about it a minute, he changes his tune. "Artistically, I need to be challenged in other ways. There’s only so much stuff you can do with the character."
Jayma Mays and Matthew Morrison are surrounded by crew as final adjustments are made before the start of a scene. "We are a family," says Morrison of his Glee co-stars.
"They’re singer-dancer-actor people," says Jane Lynch of the Glee "kids" (pictured: Mark Salling and Harry Shum, Jr.). "There’s a maturity that isn’t in your typical 25-year-old."
"I think she's incredibly rare," says Ryan Murphy (right) of Glee star Lea Michele. "Lea can do anything -- she’s a very good actress, a great singer, she can do it all."
