While they may not pack the A-list star power of guests like Gwyneth Paltrow, TVLine has announced that a couple of familiar faces will be sitting on the judge’s panel when Glee’s New Directions, Dalton Academy Warblers, and Aural Intensity show up for Regionals.Self-proclaimed D-lister Kathy Griffin will be portraying ultra-conservative Tea Party candidate Tammy Jean, a character that some say is based off Sarah Palin, while an unnamed source assures us that Tammy and Sarah actually have nothing in common.
Loretta Devine, who happens to be visiting the docs over at Grey’s Anatomy right now, has been cast in the role of Sister Mary Constance, and there’s a chance this Sister might teach the Gleeks a thing or two because she was taking off her clothes as a stripper before she put a halo on.
There’s no telling who might walk away with the prize but we’re sure to walk away with some laughs when Tammy Jean and Sister Mary get a load of each other.
