AOL’s got something better in mind for the real Glee vocalists. Check out AOL.com/Madness for all the info on how to enter, record and upload your video, and don't forget to vote!!
By this time of year, most folks have completed office-wide brackets for their March Madness picks or rallied behind their favorite school – but who says March Madness should only apply to the hardwood? This year, and for the first time, AOL is bringing together the best of the best college a cappella groups to compete in a March Madness contest created exclusively for a cappella collegiate groups. The tournament consists of bracket-style video submission entries, followed by Sweet Sixteen, Final Four, and Final Championship rounds – very much in line with the March Madness schedule. The groups will compete against each other by collecting video views as votes for their video performance to advance to the next round of the competition. Draft winners are based off of the groups with the most video views!
Not only will these a cappella groups get their very own weekly Glee moments, starting off on March 17th with a cover of “Walking on Sunshine”– but the winning group will also have an opportunity of a lifetime to record their own music video at AOL's NYC or LA studio, AND be featured on AOL's most successful original viral video show, "You've Got". They’ll join the ranks of AOL guests ranging from President Obama to Oscar The Grouch!
thanks to Nicole for the heads up!
