Matthew Morrison Isn’t Leaving ‘Glee,’ Rep Says

Breathe a sigh of relief, Gleeks. Matthew Morrison isn’t ready to leave Glee just yet.

Although earlier reports claimed he wanted to quit the show to focus on his music career, his rep has denied the rumors telling Celebuzz, “This is not true at all.”

Whew! We don’t know what we’d do without Mr. Schue.

In the earlier report from HollywoodLife, sources claimed Matthew was “using his album as a launching pad to leave Glee” and has been “cultivating friendships with big entertainers who have had success in film, theater and other areas.”

Thankfully, we can all rest easy knowing he is making time for both his acting and singing careers.

Just this week, Matthew Morrison released his duet with Elton John, which features Elton’s classics “Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters” and “Rocket Man.” The duet will be featured on Matthew’s upcoming self-titled solo album, which hits stores on May 10. Then, he’ll be on the road promoting his album during a 20-city tour.
