'Glee' scripts 'written at last minute'

Glee stars Matthew Morrison and Dot Jones have revealed that the show's scripts are often written at the last minute.

The duo explained that because the series is currently only written by three people - Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Ryan Murphy - the episodes often fall behind schedule.

"They're writing as we go and working their butts off," Jones said, according to The TV Addict.

"Some days they'd only finish three of the six acts, so when we'd get your script two days before we start working and you weren't anywhere in there, you'd know you're going to be in the episode, you'll just get your lines some time during the eight days we shoot a show."

Morrison agreed, adding that the stars of the show were handed their lines as they were filming the recent season finale.

"Literally, the end of the season, the season finale we just shot, they were handing us script pages like, 'Say this right here'," he revealed. "The show is such an epic thing to film, we got so backed up."

Morrison recently admitted that he expects there to be changes in the next few seasons of Glee.
