Vue launches Glee competition to win a trip for two to New York
International musical extravaganza, Glee 3D is coming to Vue on Friday 19th August. What’s more fans of the show, known as ‘Gleeks’, can test their Glee knowledge to be in with a chance of winning a weekend trip for two to the ‘Big Apple’.
Glee 3D is a mix of music performances and stand up comedy, which was filmed live in New Jersey. It sees Finn, Rachel and the rest of the Glee club, as well as guests from competing show choir The Warblers, perform songs from the TV programme. The show includes hits from all the series such as ‘Don’t Stop Believing’, ‘Bad Romance’, ‘Bust Your Windows’ and ‘Jump’, with set designs and costumes that recreate scenes from the show. Between sets viewers are kept entertained with backstage clips of the Glee club’s arch nemesis and coach of the ‘Cheerios’ Cheer Leaders, Sue Sylvester.
If you weren’t lucky enough to see the tour this year, Glee 3D will make sure that you don’t miss out on all the action. With views recorded from across the auditorium, which are presented in High Definition 3D and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, cinema goers will experience the best seats in the house.
Fans can enter Vue’s search for their ultimate ‘Gleek’ online http://new.myvue.com/glee3d to be in with a chance of winning a trip for two to New York City. All fans have to do is sign up and answer Glee based questions to collect Glee ‘Gleek’ Points. These points are added to the leader board and players can add to these scores simply by playing the quiz again. The player with the most points on 1st September will win the coveted prize and be named Vue’s Ultimate Glee Fan.
