MORE + VIDEO AFTER THE JUMP !

JANE LYNCH (Sue Sylvester)
“My character is continuing her campaign for Congress on the Sue Sylvester American Liberty Ticket and she’s going to be more right-wing than Michele Bachmann, at this point,” Lynch told THR at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills last week.
Will part of the campaign include more torture for Will (Matthew Morrison)? With filming under way on the first episode of the season this week, Lynch was unsure just how much of a hard time the on-screen rivals would have but noted that it will always be a factor for the characters.
“I think it’s always going to be there because it’s her lower self and she operates from her lower self,” Lynch said of the duo’s relationship. “I think they have that kind of relationship and it can go on and on that way with that love-hate thing.”

LEA MICHELE (Rachel Berry)
With visions of New York likely still dancing in her head, Michele teases that Rachel will continue to do what she’s always done: be obsessed with Broadway. “I know that she’s going to be in the school musical,” Michele told THR at TCA. “I have some awesome story lines with Darren Criss, Chris Colfer and I’ll be singing a lot of Broadway, as always.” What do you think McKinley’s school musical will be?

NAYA RIVERA (Santana Lopez)
To come out or not to come out, that’s the biggest question for Santana going in to Season 3 and Rivera is hopeful that her pinkie-holding alter-ego won’t remain in the closet.
“We just got the first script and she might have made some adjustments to her life,” Rivera teased THR at TCA, noting that since Santana is a senior, she assumes she’ll be graduating. “The way the seasons go, people start off one way and they have a transition. She’ll probably end up coming to terms with everything by the end – hopefully.”
Take from that what you will.

JENNA USHKOWITZ (Tina Cohen-Chang)
At Comic-Con, Ushkowitz learned she was a junior, and, in the press room following the Glee panel, said she’d like to see more screen time with Michele’s Rachel. “They started a little bit of that friendly competition in Season 1 with the whole West Side Story thing when she left the glee club,” she said. “That dynamic has not been established yet, that’s what I want to see.”

HARRY SHUM JR. (Mike Chang)
Shum noted that Mike has had limited interaction with Lynch’s Sue Sylvester and said at Comic-Con that he’d like share more screen time with the surly cheerleading coach.
“Sue Sylvester had some punches at Mike Chang, saying, ‘There’s one person I hate every week, and this week it’s that dancing Asian,’ ” he recalled. “I don’t think I’ve ever done a scene-scene with her where she’s just going off on Mike Chang. I think it’d be hilarious.”

DARREN CRISS (Blaine Anderson)
At Comic-Con, fans learned that Criss and Colfer’s Blaine and Kurt are on solid ground, and in the press room Criss said that he hopes Blaine remains a Dalton Academy Warbler. “I Love going to Dalton,” he said. “I’ve become quite close with the Warbler boys and think it’s a cool dynamic to have two different schools, especially if Kurt and Blaine are dating.”
