As the Glee cast sends five songs onto this week's Billboard Hot 100, the most dramatic reinvention of its quintet of debuting remakes is its transformation of Cyndi Lauper's uptempo No. 2 1984 party anthem "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" as a ballad.

Sung by Cory Monteith (aka, "Finn Hudson"), the song starts at No. 59.

It's official. Our girl crush on Naya Rivera officially knows no bounds. In fact, we might just be dialing up our grandmothers to share a little "secret," ‘cause the actress otherwise known as Santana/"Snix" was near perfect in tonight's coming-out episode. Show. Stopper.
Here's what we learned in tonight's pivotal episode and the scoop on what lies ahead, including the return of Jonathan Groff!

WHAT WE LEARNED
"Snix" Slayed! Tonight we finally saw a genuine softer side of Santana, after Finn (Cory Monteith) worked tirelessly to get Santana and her Hulk-like, evil alter ego "Snix" to come to terms with her sexuality. Perhaps he's been redeemed from last week's tragic public outing, now that he let Santana off the hook for the slap? We sure think so. Still, we're gonna laugh when she calls him Fetus Face. Go ahead. Judge us. And of course, Santana's "Snix" is not gone for good. BTW, Cory tweeted that tonight's deconstructed version of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" was his favorite number yet. And something tells us you Finn fans had a serious Gleegasm right about 16 minutes into the episode. Right?

We Want that Rachel and Kurt Spinoff Now More Than Ever: Warning: The thought of not seeing Rachel (Lea Michele) and her "best gay" Kurt (Chris Colfer) both getting into NYADA at season's end might just send us off the deep end, and we aren't sure we can handle the mental-health bills. Whether it's a spinoff or a separate NYC storyline as part of the original mothership, Ryan Murphy, please, make it so!

Brittany (Heather Morris) is definitely there for her girl Santana (Naya Rivera) during her "coming out tour," as we've started to call it. Yes, Santana will be coming out to more than one person in the next episode: Sue (Jane Lynch), Becky (Lauren Potter), and most importantly her Grandmother. And we anticipate Brittana fans will be smiling so hard at those two during that scene that there faces will be sore the next day. Also, looks like it's time to put all that Finn Vs. Santana nonsense behind us, because the pair (Sinn? Fanta?) reconcile in this weeek's episode.

Casey in Chicago, Ill.: What can you tell us about Glee's big Christmas episode?
Well, Matthew Morrison is directing it, and while he tells us that everyone was definitely in the Christmas spirit, he didn't take his directing gig lightly. "[The first person I directed was] Jane Lynch," he says. "I came over and she says, 'Before you say anything, I would just like to remind you that I have an Emmy and I was just nominated for a People's Choice Awards.'" And what directing note was he going to give her? "Bring it down a bit. No, I'm just kidding!" He better be, because we don't want to live in a world where Sue Sylvester "brings it down."

Glee-Dux: Santana and Finn Go Head-to-Head! Plus, What's Ahead for Puck and Shelby?

What a fun episode of Glee! Except for that whole, ya know, someone-getting-slapped-across-the-face thing.
Every episode that has mashups is usually one of the best of the seasons, at the very least in terms of the musical numbers, and "Mash Off" was no different. Dodgeball, Van Halen, and someone is definitely hot for teacher.
Let's break down this week's Glee; plus Mark Salling will give us some insight on what's ahead for Puck…

WHAT WE LEARNED

Santana Is Outed Prematurely: Why was anybody (Santana) shocked that someone overheard her and Finn's big "you're in love with Brittany, come out of the closet" conversation? They weren't in the magic hallway where no one ever goes (Friends reference; we have millions)! And it wasn't so much a conversation as Finn straight-up telling Santana she was a coward for not coming out. And this rumor didn't just stay within McKinley High's halls. Someone running for office against Burt and Sue used that bit of info to call Sue a homosexual supporter, even going as far to call Sue a lesbian.
True, Santana was being unusually evil this episode, but no one deserves to lose control of something as precious as choosing when to come out. Finn, unintentionally or not, outed her, which left Santana heartbroken. During one of the best performances on Glee ever, Santana was noticeably shaken, even though she still owned that number like nobody's business. We also counted six meaningful looks to Brittany, which we like to think means she's sick of hiding her love for the blond dance machine. Brittana forever! In the end, Santana stormed offstage right after the number to confront Finn, who was having a hard time keeping up with her anger. But Finn has a hard time keeping up with coloring inside the lines so that's not saying much. Anyway, Santana ends her rant with a slap right across the face. In the face! Do you think Finn will ever be forgiven? Or was what he did completely unforgivable?

kitty-kate85: How will the Kurt/Blaine dynamic change as a result of this week's upcoming episode?
We asked Chris Colfer that very same question, and here's what he had to say: "I think they are more in love than ever before, and I think they're both glad they had that experience with each other." But Colfer also revealed that the Sebastian sitch is far from over, and he's actually happy to see some tension between Kurt and Blaine (Darren Criss). "I was really excited when the whole Sebastian thing came along because I was so excited to have a storyline with a little drama between the two!" Who doesn't love high school drama? Keep it comin', Glee!

Shahnaz17: anything to do with Rachel Berry. please. I don't ask for much.
Didn't you just ask us for 20 bucks—was that you? We're on to you. Anyway, just know that Rachel (Lea Michele) is breathtaking as Maria in West Side Story on this week's Glee, and the support she gives her boyfriend Finn (Cory Monteith) is really endearing.

Bergenfluff: Did you like the Kurt/Karofsky scene? And will there be more Karofsky soon?
Not only did we like Karofsky (Max Adler) popping up in this week's episode, but Colfer told us that Kurt and his former bully having a chat was one of his favorite scenes in "The First Time."
