Over the course of just the past year, Darren Criss has gone from a virtual nobody to one of the biggest young stars in television -- and it's all come courtesy of a little show called "Glee." His character of Blaine has been viewed by many as an inspiration, and with that in mind it's tough for the actor to really even go down the street without getting hounded by either fans or members of the paparazzi.
So what's the actor's strategy for staying unnoticed? It's really rather simply -- grow out a bear and hope that no one will be able to recognize him. This is what Criss tells GQ in its new issue, and by and large it seems to be working for the guy. He's done a fairly decent job of hiding from the cameras when he wants to be hidden, and then shining when he wants to be seen.
Criss' character has taken a back seat on the show for the past couple of weeks, if for no other reason than that there is really not much for him to do since Dalton Academy is out of the running at Nationals. There has been talk that Blaine may audition for New Directions next season -- but nothing has been anywhere near confirmed.
