Max Adler has been in Hawaii shooting a pilot for ABC. Last Resort is set in the near-future and features the crew of a nuclear submarine (including Max Adler's "Stern") who become fugitives after refusing to launch their missiles. To survive the turmoil around them, the group takes refuge on a tiny, though not uninhabited, island to declare themselves an independent nation.
Gleeks surprised series creators/writers Shawn Ryan and Karl Gadjusek by following Max's involvement in the pilot enthusiastically over Twitter. Karl released a picture of Max once he got to 300 followers. Shawn then promised to post a video greeting from Max once Karl got over 600 followers. Here is the result! A near-miss for Max!
