Hilton dating ‘Glee’ star?
Tags article, mark sallingHilton confirmed she ended her on/off romance with former The Hills star Reinhardt earlier this month, and insists she is already "over" the break-up.
And according to U.S. magazine OK!, the hotel heiress has danced into the arms of Salling, who plays reformed bad boy Puck on hit U.S. TV show Glee - and she's already introduced the actor/musician to her parents.
A source says, "Paris is definitely smitten."
Hilton likes her bad boys - past lovers have included punk pop star Benji Madden and wildman Rick Salomon.
'Glee' star Dianna Agron to join sci-fi movie 'I Am Number Four'
Tags article, dianna agronDianna Agron, one of the stars of red-hot Fox series “Glee,” has nabbed the female romantic lead in “I Am Number Four,” DreamWorks’ adaptation of the upcoming young-adult science-fiction book by James Frey and Jobie Hughes.
“Four” revolves around a group of nine aliens who escaped their home planet just before it was annihilated by a rival species. Hiding out on Earth, the title character, to be played by British actor Alex Pettyfer, disguises himself as a human high schooler, only to discover he’s still being hunted by his planet’s enemy.
Agron will play a girl dating a high school jock who falls for Number Four and becomes his confidante.
“Four” will be Agron’s big-studio debut. The role in the high-pedigree movie — Michael Bay is producing with Steven Spielberg, and D.J. Caruso is directing — was highly sought-after, and the studio went through several rounds of tests to find the right candidate.
Sharlto Copley is already on board as Four’s mentor, while Teresa Palmer is cast as Pettyfer’s fellow alien, Number Six.
Chris Bender and J.C. Spink are executive producing with David Valdes. Al Gough and Miles Millar wrote the screenplay. “Four” is scheduled to begin principal photography next month in Pittsburgh.
Agron is the latest actor to capitalize on the stunning multimedia success of “Glee,” which is dominating the TV ratings and has a No. 1 album on the Billboard charts. Fellow actor Cory Monteith has booked a supporting role in Fox 2000/New Regency’s “Monte Carlo,” while Jayma Mays is playing Neil Patrick Harris’ wife in “Smurfs.”
Agron is repped by Gersh, Luber Roklin Entertainment and attorney Dave Feldman.
'Glee' Star Idina Menzel Says She Won't Be Singing 'Rent' Or 'Wicked' Songs
Tags article, guest stars, interview, videoBetween cast members Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison and guest stars like Jonathan Groff, Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel some of Broadway's brightest are getting their own second act on "Glee." Hollywood Crush caught up with Idina, who plays Shelby Corcoran, the glee club director for New Directions' rival Vocal Adrenaline, to talk about going from the big stage to the small screen.
Even before making her "Glee" appearance, Idina's presence was on the show when Chris Colfer and Lea did their renditions of her "Wicked" showstopper "Defying Gravity" for an episode. Idina had nothing but high praise for the two stars. "I texted (Lea) after I saw it and just told her what a great job she did," Idina told us, adding, "I saw Chris on set, and I told him he should go and play it on Broadway....He's so adorable and sweet, I really love him a lot."
So will Idina (who tragically hasn't sung on the show yet) be revisiting any "Wicked" or "Rent" songs herself? "I love "Rent" songs, I sing them in my own shows and stuff, but Ryan [Murphy, the exec producer] likes to take things you wouldn't expect and surprise people." We'll be over the moon to finally hear what they are!
If you could pick other Broadway songs for the show, what would you want to hear? Are you happy Idina won't be singing her own iconic showtunes on "Glee"?

Tags article, interview, musicWasn’t Tuesday night’s “Glee” kind of a tearjerker? The show’s regular pep was replaced this week by moving renditions of classic Burt Bacharach and Barbara Streisand tunes, and Adam Anders, the hit show’s busy music producer, couldn’t be happier about it (even though you were reaching for Kleenex).
And when we describe Adam as busy, let’s just say that’s an understatement. The “Glee” production schedule requires that he churn out six to 11 musical numbers each week, so he’s almost always working at a nearly impossible speed. But all the work he’s put into “Glee” may have finally paid off, because Adam describes last night’s show as the most moving episode yet.
Out of this week’s performances, including the Bruce Springsteen cover of “Fire” by Matthew and guest star Kristin (nearly the only upbeat tune of the bunch), Adam felt particularly proud of Chris Colfer’s rendition of “A House Is Not a Home,” deeming it “the most emotional song we’ve ever done.” Adam also raved about Amber Riley’s “Beautiful”; and what’s most remarkable about this memorable “Glee” moment is that it almost never happened at all.
“Amber Riley didn’t want to sing it,” Adam said of Amber’s initial reaction to the 2002 hit ballad. “Don’t let her tell you otherwise. She really respects Christina Aguilera and wanted to do it justice. Like when she did ‘And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going,’ she was really nervous about it. But as everyone knows, she killed it.”
What did you like most about this week's “Glee”? Do you think Mercedes can keep up with the Cheerios? Do you think Kurt’s dad and Finn’s mom are made for each other?

'Glee' and the Barbra Streisand Connection
Tags appearance, article, events, lea michele, ryan murphyApparently, others have picked up on this connection, too. This review in New York magazine suggested that the 'Glee' should really do a Barbra Streisand episode -- like the Madonna show -- because Barbra is 'the patron saint' of 'Glee' kids.
Whether they do an all-Streisand show or not, the writer made a great point about how the kids in New Directions are more akin to Brooklyn Barbra than almost any other performer. Before she graduated Erasmus Hall High School in 1959, Barbra Streisand was in glee club. (So was Neil Diamond!) But Streisand wasn't the star of Choral Club. The director, Mr. De Pietto, preferred blonde soprano,Trudy Wallace, and gave her all the solos. Streisand was put in the back, in the alto section.
Like the kids on 'Glee,' Streisand yearned to be popular, but she wasn't. Nobody threw a Slushee in her face, but she was considered a kook. She wore weird thrift shop clothes, experimented with outlandish makeup, and with her odd-ball looks -- the nose -- she didn't fit in.
The fact that she made it out of Brooklyn to become -- BARBRA STREISAND! -- is inspirational to any theater-crazed kid who feels like an outsider. Like Rachel -- for sure -- and Kurt and Artie, and even Puck! What do you think it meant when co-creator Ryan Murphy accepted the Golden Globe for 'Glee' last January, he said, "Thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press and Miss Barbra Streisand." That was a shout-out linking Streisand to that show. And don't forget that for sectionals, Rachel channeled Streisand when she sang "Don't Rain on My Parade."
Then, the other night, the Bacharach/David medley. If you doubt that the arrangement was pure Streisand, take a look at her original performance:
There's yet another Streisand/'Glee' connection that's coming up. On May 8, "Funny Girl," Barbra's 1968 film debut -- which won her the Best Actress Oscar (in a tie with Katherine Hepburn) -- is being shown on the big screen. At 7:30 PM at the American Cinematheque at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, 'Glee's' Ryan Murphy, executive producer Dante Di Loreto and Rachel Berry herself, Lea Michele, will do a special introduction for the movie. You think a few Gleeks will show up? Yeah, so do I.

'Glee': Cory Monteith talks Jesse St. James, Rachel Berry and TV mom Romy Rosemont
Tags article, cory monteith, interview, spoiler, videoWhatever the consensus was before, after this week's interview with Cory Monteith, I must say, I beg to differ.
Cory showed up for Monday's Academy of Television Arts & Sciences event looking quite dapper.
You simply must check out the video below for a closer look as Korbi TV objectifies the kid like it's nobody's business.
We're also talking about Jesse St. James -- and how he's clearly shady -- Rachel Berry -- and how Finn has finally realized she's the one. Thankfully, I stopped myself from singing "Jesse's Girl" to his face, but I definitely told him I was thinking about it.
What else?
We're discussing the killer scenes between him and his TV mom, Romy Rosemont, this past Tuesday (April 27). Watch the clip for more on that, plus whether the families of Finn and Kurt (Chris Colfer) could possibly merge at some point...
Lea interview on JustJared!
Tags interview, lea michele, spoiler, videoGlee’s powerhouse voice Lea Michele starts rehearsals TODAY for the Glee Live Concert Tour (Dove is the Official Hair Care Sponsor).
Here’s what the 23-year-old actress shared about the tour: “I know that we’re doing about 16 songs, mostly from the first 13 episodes. [Although] one of them, I know, is ‘Like A Prayer.’ From what I’ve picked up, it’ll be set up as if we were in our school. We do a bunch of group numbers, we’ll do a couple solos - I also think we’re going to have Vocal Adrenaline do some numbers as well, which will be awesome ’cause they’re so great. [Creator Ryan Murphy] keeps changing the set list every day, but there’s going to be some really cool stuff. I hear pyrotechnics!”
SPOILER AHEAD!
As for next week’s guest stars Molly Shannon and Olivia Newton-John, Lea shared, “Next week’s episode is CRAZY. Everybody sort of goes nuts in the episode - that’s what happens on Glee. Crazy stuff happens and then we all regroup and everything sort of comes back to normal again in the end… [Molly] has a drinking and a little bit of a drug problem… (laughs). Obviously, Molly Shannon’s hilarious and she can do no wrong. I want her to come back really bad - she’s in the episode, but I hope she comes back for more!”

Tags article, cory monteith, interviewCory Monteith is spending a chunk of his summer vacation in Europe with Selena Gomez, Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.
Not too shabby, right?
Monteith and the trio will be across the Atlantic shooting the adventure comedy Monte Carlo, with the Glee star playing Cassidy's boyfriend. So, any lip-locking between Mr. Monteith and the Melrose Place bombshell?
"I cannot confirm or deny," a tight-lipped Monteith told us at the recent Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' Glee panel. "I'm not going to ruin anything. I've got to keep you guessing."
Monteith jets to Europe after the Glee concert tour wraps up at the end of next month to shoot the flick, which centers on three young women who end up traveling to Monaco after one is mistaken for a British heiress. "It shoots in Budapest, Paris, Nice and Monte Carlo," Monteith said. "I'm going to have a damn good summer. I'm going to have a freakin' awesome summer."
The summer will probably also be filled with celebrity-tabloid-fueled romance rumors between Monteith and his costars, don't ya think?
"Let them talk," Cory said. "That's what I say! Let them talk."
Meanwhile, Mr. Monteith says he's up for an all-Britney Spears episode of Glee à la the highly successful Madonna-filled extravaganza: "It would be fun. Being Britney Spears, it would be all pop music, and that would work with Glee."

Lea, 24, is wise, savvy and beautiful, an extremely gifted singer-actress-dancer-comedian with perfect pitch (I love that!). She is well prepared for superstardom in a role that is tailor-made for her on a creative, original show.
It must be so exciting to be Lea. To be in a wonderfully entertaining musical, playing a character whom millions of people around the world adore and whom young girls emulate — tell me about it!

Thankfully, for "Glee" fans, there are several fresh "Glee" episodes still to air this spring and, just so you know, there's also more Artie-Tina drama to come. Specifically in the episode which Joss Whedon directed and Neil Patrick Harris guests in.

Behind the Glee: Home
Tags behind the scenes, videoFaux Madonna Beats Real Madonna
Tags article, musicGlee: The Power Of Madonna enters The Billboard 200 at #1. The album from the recent prime-time salute to Her Madgesty is outselling Madonna's current CD/DVD combo, Sticky & Sweet Tour. The Glee album sold 98,000 copies this week. Sticky & Sweet Tour has sold 41,000 copies in its first three weeks. In fairness to Madonna, her hits have been repackaged on numerous compilations over the years. The Glee versions are new.
All seven selections from the EP are listed on Hot Digital Songs. "Like A Prayer" bows at #10, followed by "Borderline"/"Open Your Heart" at #41, "Like A Virgin" at #51, "4 Minutes" at #55, "Express Yourself" at #90, "What It Feels Like For A Girl" at #117 and "Vogue" at #153. Two of Madonna's original recordings return to Hot Digital Songs. "4 Minutes" (featuring Justin Timberlake) bows at #127. "Like A Prayer" (which is starting to feel like her most classic recording) bows at #135.
Madonna's Celebration album returns to The Billboard 200 at #85. The two-disc greatest hits set has sold 226,000 copies since its release in September.
The success of the Glee album is akin to people buying original cast albums to Mamma Mia! and Jersey Boys rather than compilations by ABBA and the 4 Seasons, respectively. I would rather have the real thing in all three cases, but some fans are more connected to the theatrical show than they are to the artist involved.

'Glee' stars want Joel, Prince themes
Tags article, cory monteith, interview, jessalyn gilsig, matthew morrison"I think he's just such a wonderful songwriter," he told On The Red Carpet. "I've always been inspired by his music. I literally used to fall asleep to his music with my mum's sports Walkman, it was a cassette tape."
Matthew Morrison, who plays Will Schuester, added that he does not want the show to have too many themed episodes.
"I don't know if I want the show to go into, 'Let's do a theme of this person and this person', because I feel like it would lose the specialness of the show," he said. "But if we were to do one I would love to do a Prince episode or something, that would be awesome."
Meanwhile, Jessalyn Gilsig explained that she wants her character Terri to get revenge on her ex-husband Will through song.
"I really want to sing 'Don't Cha' by the Pussycat Dolls," she said. "In Will's face."

Lindsay Lohan Hates Glee
Tags article, generalIf you remember, Emma said that LiLo looked like "something out of the Lord of the Rings," a reference to the fact that her skinny body and orange-on-a-toothpick head made her look like the infamous Gollum. Needless to say, Lindsay wasn't thrilled and she took her beef to Twitter: "#gleecast I hope that the show was referring to me looking like a fairy! With the- and the 'guidance couselor' (sic) is not a natural redhead!" So, obviously that's totally clear. Or not.
Lindsay, you're bashing Jayma Mays (Emma) for not being a natural redhead? Honey, you've changed hair colors so many times it's a wonder you're not bald by now!

Lea Michele Stops By!
Tags glee tour, interview, lea michele, videoMichele has virtually grown up onstage, making her Broadway debut at age 8 as Young Cosette in Les Miserables.
Landing the role from an open call, the young actress has hardly stopped working since, going from Les Miz to the Toronto and Broadway companies of Ragtime, followed by a brief stint in high school (“It was my fun, normal time!” she quips) and then the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof.
“I’ve kinda had to grow up fast,” Michele says frankly, “but it’s made me who I am. I have some awesome friends from high school, and I’ve also been able to work with people like Marin Mazzie, Audra McDonald and Brian Stokes Mitchell—I mean, come on! I wouldn’t change any of it. 'Glee' becomes highest-rated new scripted series
Tags articleUPDATED: Fox's hit musical dramedy "Glee" is now the top-rated new scripted series this season.
Bolstered by its "American Idol" lead-in, "Glee" (12.2 million viewers, 5.2 adults 18-49) surpassed ABC's "Modern Family" on Tuesday night to become the highest-rated freshman series -- a point Fox is certain to make at next month's upfront presentation to advertisers. CBS' reality show "Undercover Boss" remains the top-ranked new series overall.
"Glee" also was steady with its rating last week while many other broadcast shows hit their lowest numbers of the year. "Idol" (19.4 million, 6.9) was on par with last week.
CBS was second with "NCIS" (16.3 million, 3.5), followed by "NCIS: LA" (15.6 million, 3.2) and a season-low "The Good Wife" (12.1 million, 2.2).
Third-place NBC saw "Biggest Loser" (7.5 million, 2.8) drop 18% this week, which had a direct impact on "Parenthood" (5.8 million, 2.4), down 17%.
ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" results show (12.4 million, 2.4) was low, followed by a "Lost" repeat. At 10 p.m., and without an original "Lost" lead-in this week, "V" (4.9 million, 1.9) sank 14% to a season low. The CW aired "90210" (1.5 million, 0.7).
'Glee': Romy Rosemont wants Finn's mom to don a stonewashed denim wedding dress
Tags guest stars, interview, spoiler, video"It was such a touching episode because how many single mothers do we know that are exhausted [like Carole]?" Romy Rosemont, who plays Carole, tells Korbi TV in the video below. "And I love the fact that they gave her this transformation and no more acid-washed jeans, which I was grateful for."
Yes, we are loving the Carole makeover too.
So, now that Carole and Burt (Mike O'Malley) are coupled up, will we be seeing a lot more of them this season?
"We definitely see me," Rosemont says. "We could see more of me if I had my druthers. ... It's a great storyline and it's going to further [in the final episodes this May], but there are so many people to accommodate. But hopefully these characters will grow and the public will want to see more of them."
We do! We are tearing up just thinking about what went down with them this week. And it makes us feel closer to all involved.
"Because Finn is so bigger than life, I think what they've done is something that is really interesting by giving him a woman that everybody knows [in their own lives]," Rosemont continues. "You know Carole. You do. Either you know her, or she's like your mom or she's like your neighbor, and I think that's really, really smart, because you have to have these bigger than life characters and what they've done is peppered in all these real people, which is just so much fun to play."
Something else Rosemont wouldn't mind playing out onscreen? A Hudson-Hummel wedding.
"I wouldn't mind a stonewashed denim wedding dress," she says. "That would be nice."
See for yourself...
