'I get out of dressing up in Gaga attire,' he says of tonight's show.
Gleeks everywhere — and "little monsters," for that matter — can rejoice! The much-anticipated Lady Gaga episode of "Glee" is set to air Tuesday night (May 25). Fans will finally get to see whether the McKinley High glee club nails some of Gaga's biggest hits, including "Poker Face" and "Bad Romance."
But the head of New Directions, Will Schuester, won't be donning any elaborate headdresses or going without pants, à la Gaga, according to Matthew Morrison.
"I get out of dressing up in Gaga attire or Kiss attire, 'cause there's a lot of Kiss stuff going on in that episode as well," Morrison told MTV News.
Although Morrison didn't have to be Gaga-fied, he said he admired all the hard work everyone put toward tackling the pop star's theatrical persona.
"I have to give props to our makeup department and our costume department for that episode," he said. "Because it is the most craziest, hardest thing you can imagine. It's fantastic to look at."
At the Fox series' premiere party in April, castmembers were already bubbling with excitement about the Gaga-themed show.
"Her music and her influence on pop music right now, it's so well expressed by 'Glee,' " said Cory Monteith, who plays Finn. "The way that that episode goes with Lady Gaga's music is amazing."
"The guys do their thing," Kevin McHale added. "Not all the guys can pull off Gaga. I can't give anything away. It's insane and the outfits are incredible and almost exactly true to the real Gaga outfits. I can't wait for people to see it."
