Glee Recap: Tears of a Crown
Tags discussion, episode 2x20
As a (mostly) adult man in my late 30s, my junior-prom memories are stored safely in a dusty lockbox with my Edie Brickell and New Bohemians cassettes and some VHS tapes of old Moonlighting episodes. So it’s pretty impressive that Tuesday night’s episode of Glee managed to vividly remind an Oldie Oldenstein like me of the thrills and heartbreaks and insecurities that kids experience as they pair up, dress up, and stress out for this magically overblown rite of passage.Prom Portraits

E!'s own Giuliana Rancic asked Lady Gaga herself that very question, and Gaga told us, "I would love to. We should just work it out. I know that they're doing some more music on the show soon, and they just did the amazing 'Born This Way' episode, so I would love to.Glee's an amazing show. I really like what it stands for."
OurEyesAreOpen: Don't leave us hanging! Anything more you can spill about that cryptic Finchel scoop in last week's Glee-dux?
That was really cryptic, right? Sorry about that, but we're trying to leave some things secret or there won't be any fun surprises left for Glee fans to see on their own! Perhaps this helps: Rachel (Lea Michele) often helps Finn (Cory Monteith) figure out his feelings, either through song or through a conversation, right? In the finale, Finn doesn't need Rachel's help understanding what his heart wants.
Yelyahbosco: Please tell me it's safe to say that the Brittany and Artie relationship is officially over? #glee
Sorry, but it ain't over yet. In case you missed it, this exclusive sneak peek of tomorrow's Glee shows Artie (Kevin McHale) serenading Brittany (Heather Morris) with his "prom proposal".

In the following exclusive clip from Tuesday’s episode — the first of three that Groff is slated to appear in — New Directions’ arch-nemesis attempts to atone for his past treachery and Rachel is having none of it. Matt: Is it true that Blaine will only appear in one of the final four episodes of 'Glee' this season? With Darren Criss being the biggest breakout star of this season, sidelining him seems crazy (and particularly insulting to Klaine fans). I'm hoping he'll appear in the finale and it's being kept under wraps. Any chance of that?
Mo says: It's possible. Blaine is not in this week's episode or the May 17 episode, but he's definitely in the May 10 episode. A Fox representative could not confirm definitively whether Criss will appear in the May 24 finale, in which New Directions heads to Nationals. But never fear, even if he isn't in the season 2 finale, I am betting the hunky Blaine will be appearing on the Fox show for some time to come.

Glee-Dux: We've Got All the Hot Gossip—and Then Some!
Tags episode 2x20, episode 2x21, episode 2x22, jon groff, spoilerDid you hear the rumor? Glee was awesome this week!
Not only did we get lots of great storytelling involving lots of our favorite characters, we also received a number of little winks from the Glee writers to let us know they're aware of what's said out in the fandom.
Think you missed something? Don't worry, we're covering all the moments that might have flown over you head, plus scoop on the remaining episodes. Just three more left!
WHAT WE LEARNED:
Wink, Wink. Nudge, Nudge: How awesome was it that the whole gang was sitting around spouting off all the couple names fans have given them over the past two years? But my favorite one was a couple name I haven't thought of yet: Noah Puckerman (Mark Salling) and Lauren Zizes (Ashley Fink) equal "Pisces." That is outstanding. Other points where the writers went all meta on us: Finn (Cory Monteith) talking about Quinn's (Dianna Agron) mood swings, the blind items, and Rachel's (Lea Michele) comment to him about his girlfriend: "I never understood why you got back with her." At which point, I bet all my Finchel fans shouted: "Neither can we!"
Kristin Chenoweth Never Disappoints: I sincerely hope you all love April Rhodes as much as I do. Fast fact: My favorite Glee number ever is the "One Less Bell to Answer/A House Is Not a Home" mashup with April and Will (Matthew Morrison). Her voice is just gorgeous, and I was glad to see it showcased again. Plus, her presence planted that Broadway seed in Mr. Schuester's brain. Who else thinks that the trip to NYC is going to make that seed plant its roots a little deeper? Even Emma (Jayma Mays) wants him to go, and we all know she loves him more than she loves cleaning grapes. Which, we found out, she loves a little less now that she's on medication.
